Learning That Sparks Real Growth

Residents at The “RO” Center, attend Waller Elementary, Junior High, and High School. The Waller Independent School District has a Special Education program to accommodate children with disabilities. The educational needs for each child referred to the special education program are determined by professional assessment personnel.

At The “RO” center, we believe that students who experience mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders often face barriers that make traditional classroom environments difficult to navigate. They may struggle with attention, impulse control, emotional regulation, or forming healthy peer relationships, all of which can interfere with their ability to stay engaged and succeed academically. These challenges are not signs of unwillingness or lack of potential—they are indicators of underlying needs that require a different kind of support.
