Philosophy of The RO Center for Child Development
The “RO” Center for Child Development believes that children are resilient, and with specialized, corrective treatment they are able to overcome barriers, including emotional and mental distresses that interfere with developmental trajectories. Our highly trained interdisciplinary team uses contemporary interventions and strategies that value individuality and foster strong interpersonal relationships. The expectation is that each resident will transition seamlessly into their home environment and community once they have completed our program.
General Residential Operations
Residential mental health services provide the stability, structure, and supportive community that adolescents need to heal and grow. Within this environment, youth receive consistent guidance, predictable routines, and therapeutic relationships that help them feel safe, understood, and connected.
Each adolescent participates in an individualized residential treatment plan that integrates clinical, experiential, and academic components. This comprehensive approach is designed to address the full range of children mental health needs, including emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, trauma recovery, and school engagement. Treatment plans are tailored to each youth’s strengths, cultural background, developmental level, and long‑term goals, ensuring that care remains both personalized and effective.
